The Sword Medical User Group event held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Blanchardstown on the 20th of May 2015 was very well attended by over 50 delegates. This was the first of such an event for Ingo Untch and Andy Barnea from ELCAT, both gentlemen were impressed by the working knowledge of the Irish vascular physiologists and thoroughly enjoyed the interactive nature of the workshop on the Vasolab320 peripheral vascular system.
Dr Hans Jeurgen Smith, Michael Hartung and Dr Herman Eschenbacher from Carefusion all found the respiratory physiologists very receptive to the new Sentry Suite Pulmonary Function Testing and Cardio Pulmonary Exercise Testing platforms which is both encouraging and refreshing to everyone involved in the day said Rob Enthoven – Commercial Director Respiratory Diagnostics, International Commercial Operations EMEA + LATAM for CareFusion.
This is the 2nd such event that Sword Medical have hosted in the past five years. Meeting the engineers and the brains behind the design of the equipment is something that we feel is important to offer to our customers, finding new or improved techniques to work with equipment that physiologists use every day of their working lives can only improve the quality of the health care offered in Ireland and help with overall product satisfaction says Ian Boltt – Business Unit Manager at Sword Medical. We received wonderful testimonials from delegates after the event on how informative and interactive the event was.
“I would like to congratulate you on a wonderful user day yesterday! It was a great opportunity to meet the product specialists from Carefusion who are so knowledgeable in their fields. It was very informative and I learnt a lot. Please pass on my thanks to all the speakers they all gave excellent talks”.
